Penguins Finish NTXHL Regular Season 19-1-0
The Penguins Pee Wee AA team set a goal at the beginning of the 2008 regular season to be the North Texas Hockey League Pee Wee AA champions this season. They finished league play last weekend with a record of 19-1-0 and in first place.
The Penguins accomplished their goal through hard work, both on and off the ice, and a team commitment to excellence in both ends of the ice. The Penguins put the league's most prolific offense to work every game resulting in a league leading 119 goals in 20 games (6 goals/game avg). Defensively, the Penguins were equally effective with a league leading 22 goals against (1.2 goals/game avg); less than half of the nearest competitor in the Pee Wee AA division. The Penguins attacking style of play generates offense and shuts down opponents up and down the ice.
Next, the Penguins play in the Rocky Mountain District Tournament in Provo, Utah on March 13-16th representing the state of Texas in the Tier II-U12 District tournament.
Congratulations to the NTXHL Pee Wee AA and State Champion Dallas Penguins Pee Wee 95 AA team for their success during the regular season.
